The Mooresville men’s soccer team came out firing on all cylinders Wednesday night.  After the tough loss vs Hough, the Mooresville team played with revenge on their mind and dominated in every aspect of the game.

Mt. Pleasant was the next victim on the list at Joe Popp Stadium and Mooresville was ready. Right out of the gate Mooresville scored early and often setting the tone on the evening for Mt Pleasant.

Senior Randy Estrada got things going offensively with the first home goal of the season. Sophomore Tanner Small followed suit and had a hat before half time.  He had an impressive shot which split Mt. Pleasant defenders and dropped into the back left corner. After making a run out of the back, Greg Heckle added to the tally making it 5-0 at the half.  Heckles goal was a no look dime that dropped in the back corner of the net. (Shown in photo)

Tanner Small didn’t let up getting the scoring started in the second half.

Ryan Amstutz and Liam Myatt added goals of their own to make it a final of 8-0 respectively.

Estrada, Myatt, Small and Carlos Sanchez all had fantastic assists which results in a dominating night all around.

Brothers Brian and Josian Rodriguez added to creative offensive dominance.

Defense played like a well-oiled machine which opened many scoring opportunities and aided in the first shutout of the season.

Ben Burger kept a clean sheet through 70 minutes of play and was stellar all night.  Ben then exited for Austin Piecuch  to finish game keeping the shut out.
