The Mooresville Spinners are facing a tough decision, and the thought of shutting down is hard for all of us.
For many years, this team has been a vital part of our community, offering not just fun but a sense of togetherness. Numerous college baseball players and MLB draft picks have played on our fields, adding to a proud tradition of summer baseball that brings joy to fans of all ages.
The wood bat league, filled with the delicious smells of hot dogs and popcorn, creates a lively hometown atmosphere that we all love. Our city is united, eager to keep this cherished team alive. The ownership had hoped for a few more years under their contract, but with a brand new baseball stadium being built in downtown Mooresville, now is the perfect time for us to come together.
Let’s make sure the Spinners continue to shine as a source of happiness and friendship in our lives, helping us build connections and create lasting memories under the summer sun. Together, we can protect this beloved tradition and celebrate the heart of our community.
The Spinners ask that you visit the final games of this season and make your voice heard in support of the organization.
